The Friendly Neighborhood Opossum

I made this guy as a practice in cartoony modeling and fur. I've tackled fur a few times in the past, and had failed miserably, but this time I was determined to finish with at least a presentable result. Its still not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with him, especially knowing that the next time I do a fur character I wont be so intimidated =)
The character is based on a character in a rad little short story that my girlfriend wrote, that I would like to eventually turn into an animated short film.
I did the fur with Maya fur, the texture maps in Zbrush, and lastly the render in Mental Ray

Scrub the hand left and right to rotate he model. Also, scroll down to see him in different poses.
